impractical fashion

yellow blazer | three wishes style

Most of the time I pride myself on wearing practical clothing. However there are some exceptions, such as a great pair of 5 inch heels or a purse that only fits your lipstick.

These are moments when you have to ask yourself, “Am I actually going to wear this, or am I just going to add another item to my ever-growing collection of things I don’t wear?” I asked myself this question after I saw this box clutch at Target the other day… I even put it down and walked away, only to turn around 10 steps later, walk back and buy it. As you can tell my will power is amazing. Put a glazed donut or a really cute purse in front of me and watch me shine. :-/

I found out that this purse not only fits one lipstick but it also fits my phone… car keys are a different story, but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Hope you’re having a great week so far!

leopard matches everything

plaid + neon | three wishes styleI’ve been trying to avoid open-toed shoes lately (considering it’s winter and all) BUT it’s 75 degrees here today and I just got a pedicure so today called for open toed shoes. The rest of the outfit came together easily and I topped off my look with this fun leopard clutch. I love mixing patterns, especially when one of those patterns is leopard!

outfit of the day: floral shirt

Floral shirt | three wishes style

I’m not a huge floral kind-of girl, but sometimes it just works. I really love this shirt, it’s so comfy and the perfect statement piece that doesn’t need a lot of other fuss. I paired it with my new favorite shoes, some distressed jeans a my new yellow purse. Happy Tuesday!!

outfit of the day: go-to look

standard look | three wishes style

This is an easy go-to look, dark jeans, a blouse and a skinny belt. But while standing is front of the mirror I realized that the look was a little dark and needed a pop. So I grabbed my trusty neon pink pumps like I do time and time again. I never realized when I found these shoes on sale at Target for $9.. yes only $9, that I would have so much fun styling them. But here they are to save another outfit from being boring. Oh and I love this clutch, polka-dotted anything is wonderful in my book!

outfit of the day: tuxedo pants

tuxedo pants | three wishes style

Hello friends.. I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of you for visiting my blog. I’m having so much fun and feel like this is something that has been missing from my life. Fashion is important to me and I feel so lucky to have this forum to talk about it with all of you.

With that being said I do have a confession… I doubt my ability to do this almost everyday, all the while comparing myself to the many great fashion bloggers out there. I can’t afford half of the clothes that these people have, I’m certainly not rich and I have no one sending me clothes to style. (I’m sure many of us beginning fashion bloggers feel this way.)

BUT we have to push those feelings aside each day and continue to tell ourselves that we are good enough. Not only can we do this, more importantly we can rock it out!! So my friends.. that’s what I’m going to try to do! Thanks for coming along this crazy, fun, scary journey with me!
