shoulders are the new black

4 striped dress | three wishes style

I was on the hunt for a great off-the-shoulder top recently and while I can’t seem to find one that I really like, I did come across this off-the-shoulder dress from Target (for only $30!). It was love at first sight, we’re thinking a wedding in the fall… the dress and me. ūüėČ

Anyway I wore this dress and legit did not want to take it off at the end of the day. They have it in black too and I’m seriously considering getting it, because why not? I can only find the striped one online in curvy sizing [I’ll link it below], but it’s the WHO WHAT WEAR collection at Target and if you find one I recommend trying it on and buying it. Hopefully it will bring you as much joy as it does me.

Lots of love! XO

my favorite outfit ever

8 pink black and white stripes | three wishes style

Hello my dears! I always thought it would be impossible for me to get all of my favorite trends in one outfit, but it looks like it’s possible. Here we have stripes, a midi skirt, leopard, ankle strap heels, bright pink, lace and a white handbag… or as I’m calling it, my favorite outfit ever.

What are some of your favorite trends and would you ever wear them together in one look? XO

it’s funny when…

b+w | three wishes styleIt’s funny when you wear a really comfortable outfit with really uncomfortable shoes. There is a reason the word “heel” is very similar to the word “hell.”

Also, this is my new favorite hairstyle, it’s surprisingly easy to do and looks great with slightly dirty hair… not that my hair is ever dirty. ūüėČ

Happy Monday!!

happy hour

romper | three wishes style

I wore this outfit to meet the boyfriend for happy hour last Friday. The weather here has been really intense lately so the less clothes the better. I tend to wear less accessories during the scorching Florida summers as well. It’s important for me to find cute clothes and hair styles to make up for the fact that I can’t layer or show my personal style as easily.

This outfit looks like a romper, but it’s just black shorts and a black blouse. It’s extremely comfortable and will be great to remix and match all summer long!

Hope you’re staying cool wherever you are! Happy HUMP day!

once a thrifter…

floral midi | three wishes style

…always a thrifter! It’s been way too long since I have gone thrifting so yesterday I went thrift shopping on my lunch break and ending up finding two items and spent a total of $11. How can you not love that?! One of the items I found was this skirt (it was $4.27) and just today I have already gotten so many compliments on it. A few other reasons I love it… it’s teal (one of my favorite colors), the floral pattern is very simple, it’s pleated and it’s a midi (not easy to find in regular stores).

This is the outfit that I envisioned right after I bought this skirt and I was thrilled when I tried it on and realized it actually worked. Also this shirt is not a real crop top, I simply folded the shirt under and tied a knot in the back. I like crop tops, but sometimes they show just a little too much and can be unflattering. If you wear it this way you can decide how much of your stomach you do or don’t want showing. (As much as I would love to take credit for this… I stole the idea from one of my favorite bloggers, Kendi Everyday.)

leopard matches everything

plaid + neon | three wishes styleI’ve been trying to avoid open-toed shoes lately (considering it’s winter and all) BUT it’s 75 degrees here today and I just got a pedicure so today called for open toed shoes. The rest of the outfit came together easily and I topped off my look with this fun leopard clutch. I love mixing patterns, especially when one of those patterns is leopard!
