It’s hard to believe that it’s not summer yet. It is hot here in Florida already and has been for the last few weeks. I’m talking really hot (in the 90s) so I’m having to transition my wardrobe accordingly. I’ve been trying to dress for the summer temperatures while still trying to make it OK to wear to work on a Friday. Yes, I realize this dress is very short (especially after seeing these pics) and that I probably pushed it a bit wearing it to work, but my work is super relaxed, especially on a Friday… and in my defense the dress is longer in the back. 😉
I originally bought this dress as a beach cover-up, but the pattern and ease of it made me want to find a way to wear it out. All I needed was my trusty black tuxedo vest, some red flats and my tote. I love re-working pieces from my closet to make new looks.
