4 blushing | three wishes style

I am in love blush colors lately, they are going to be huge for spring. Especially since the Pantone Color of the Year for 2016 is rose quartz, which is the most gorgeous light pink color.

This outfit came together without much thought… I knew I wanted to wear these pants, but wasn’t really planning on any kind of monochromatic look. It just happened to work out that way and to be honest, I surprised myself with how much I liked it.

What do you guys think? Are you loving blush colors for spring?

***Also, could my feet be any whiter?! They are starting to match my handbag!

Spring 2014 Trends

I love that time when the seasons are about to change and new trends and styles are just around the corner. Well my friends it is almost that time. Spring is right around the corner and it’s time to make sure that you have the appropriate fashion to start the season off right. Below are some of my personal favorite trends that should be easy for us normal gals to recreate this Spring.

Cropped Jackets

BCBG Max Azria | Clavin Klein

The boxy look of these jackets gives off a vintage and ladylike feel. The cropped boxy shape will look perfect in a variation of prints and textures and can be paired with dresses, tailored trousers, and even jeans.

Button-down shirts

Alexander Wang | Tod’s Spring Runway

Some were worn all the way buttoned up on the runways… this look is probably a bit too scandalous for work, but I’m sure us normal gals can button the rest of the buttons.

Tea-length skirt

Marni | Proenza Schouler

Not quite a midi, not quite a maxi… the tea-length has a very ladylike feel and is a twist on last years “skirt” craze.

Metallic Fabrics

Altuzarra | Rochas

High shine metallic colors in every shade are very in this season. I’ll be interested to see if this trend makes it to the streets.

Shift Blouse

Calvin Klein | Burberry Prorsum

Finally, something that we can wear while eating a sandwich. The shift blouse is pretty much a dressy shirt and is so great because it conceals any tummy problems. I have a feeling I’ll be getting a few of these this Spring.

Burberry Prorsum | Giorgio Armani

To be honest, this color makes me think of a bridesmaid dress… BUT the more I see it, the more I like it. It just has to be worn with the appropriate pieces to avoid looking overly girly.
