seashorses | three wishes styleI love pattern mixing. I understand that it’s not something that everyone is comfortable with but it’s a great way to get a lot of use out of your closet. Although you have to be willing to take a few risks. I’ve tried on plenty of pieces together that never made it out of my room and even when I paired these two items together in the back of my mind I kinda thought they wouldn’t end up looking good. That is, until I looked in the mirror and instantly fell in love with this outfit. I mean how can you go wrong with polka dots and seahorses!? The answer is simple, you can’t.

If you’re not 100% but want to try pattern mixing, here are a few tips:

  • Start with two prints in the same color scheme
  • Chose one big print and one small print, or
  • Chose prints that are opposites (think stripes and flowers or polka dots and seahorses)

I hope you’re having a glorious day!
